Technically this is from 07, but it was the last time I saw my dad, over Christmas last year.  We flew back to Oregon New yrs eve.

We went to the pumpkin patch with Grandma Ellie when she was here.  Zoe had a blast even though she was sick.

Over the past couple days Zoe has been doing a lot of things that have been shocking me.   Maybe I shouldn’t be shocked, and maybe it is normal for her age group.  But I think she is advancing faster than normal.

For instance, today when i came home for a break, she was sitting outside at her picnic table working on a second puzzle.  the first puzzle was sitting off to the side, completely put together.  She put it together all by herself.  This is a 25pc wooden puzzle with no frame to put the pieces in.  I thought Jesse had helped her with it, but she did it all by herself!

Then a couple days ago she wanted to write on her computer(our old desktop).  I pulled up wordperfect for her and enlarged the font so she could see it well.  Then she told me she was going to write Zoe.  I was on my laptop and turned to see what she was typing and she was holding the Z down.  Then I asked what came next, and she said O and typed o, then E.   Next she needed a new page, so i showed her how to use the enter button so she could get a new sheet.  Then she typed mama, dada, nala & noah.  I helped her spell them along the way, but wasn’t showing her where the keys were.  I had no idea she knew her letters!  Who knew my 2 1/2 yr old would be typing on a computer.  She is growing up way too fast!!

It’s weird, but nice.  I’m not used to being so popular for something that I design & make.

Jesse was even telling one of his customers about me, and he didn’t have to.  They said they already knew about me and that I(my carriers) come highly recommended!

I’ve been thinking about the upcoming family visits and it got me thinking of my mom and her visit here.  I remembered she took most of the photos of that trip, and sent me them and I never posted them!  I was trying to find photos of myself and Zoe and these are the only ones I could find, besides the babywearing ones we takes.  🙂  So here are the ones my mom took of me and Zoe.

Tomorrow we are all going to go to Green Sprouts, it is a local “green” festival.  The local babywearing group that i’m in has a booth there and they are going to have two of my carriers for people to try on.  Plus i’ll be there wearing mine and I know a few other mamas who are going to be wearing DC’s.  🙂  Sad thing is, I have no stock made, I’m working on customs that are scheduled out into the end of October!  I need to find more help with sewing.  The seamstress I am using now lives far away and it is hard to work with someone that I can’t just drop something off.  I even called a few sewing houses to see about contract sewing.  I need to keep researching that.  I figure someday i’ll make a contact with someone who can hook me up with a local sewing house.  That would be ideal.

Anyway, there is also a babywearing fashion show and we’ll be participating in it.  Should be fun!  Zoe can’t wait!

I’m going to bring my camera, so hopefully i’ll have some pics of the event.

Whee!

Zoe loves the big girl swing, but hates the baby/toddler swings.  She screams to have me push her higher & higher. 🙂  I can’t believe how big she has gotten in the past couple months.  She is such a little kid!  She still loves her puzzles & books, but is also addicted to watching the Wonder Pets!  She knows the theme song and sings it at random points throughout the day.  She loves breaking out into song at random moments.  Her songs include- Twinkle Twinkle, ABC song(yes she knows her abc’s), Itsy Bitsy Spider, and the Wonder Pet theme song.

She rides her trike all the time, by herself like a kid, as she says.  🙂

Just found out we should be getting a visit from Grandpa Joe this next month and another visit from Grandma Ellie!

Zoe is very excited for both!

She sure is lucky to have such awesome grandparents!  🙂

Hi everyone!

I’ve decided to switch over to wordpress officially.

I never get on LJ and honestly i’m just bored and done with it.  It was something to read when Zoe was younger, but it just feels old to me.  So I need a new blog, something to share what is going on with all of us.  Granted most of it will be about Zoe, but i’m sure i’ll share a little about me and Jesse at times.  🙂

Well I was going to write more, but Zoe wants me to play with play doh.  🙂   More later.
